Romania - Pasul Urdele
 

Hi folks
I have question about possibility of driving by Pasul Urdele in early of April.
Whether the pass is available by 4x4 car? I don't know how to plan out the route in this area.
Perhaps somebody will help with this issue?

Nobody knows what will be in April. Probably a lot of snow and unpassable.
Remember that normally main tarmac road through Fogaras Mountain is closed till June.
When it is dry you can pass it by 2WD car or even Yamaha Virago. But when it wet it is more complicated.
Anyway there is a tarmac road on 67 C from south side and you can reach 2000 meters easy. Then local people will tell you and you will see what is going on.
