Road conditions Turkey/Iran in April
 

Hey guys,

I would like to travel from Turkey to Iran. Because of my work I unfortunately have to do the trip in April/Mai. Can anybody give me informations regarding the road conditions. Is it possible or will I be stopped by snow ?

My wife said (she is from turkey) its better to travel in may/jun because a lot of rain is possible in april.

please tell me your road city by city, i will give you details.
Turkey is a big country, you can have spring,summer and winter in a day across the country.
for exemple i live im Mersin, sea side,we have 37 degrees celcius on this august,30th.
north side is about 23 degrees celcius.

roads in Turkey and Iran are far better than you have think. no worries.
about the weather, it might be chilly, rainy across the country. in the high of east of Turkey and west of Iran might be snowy, but they wont stop you. just get a thermal wear, heated grips and water proofs. it is doable!
