I also cant get any info on ferries ao haifa from Greece, Italy

It's nigh on impossible driving from Israel to the UK. There are too many problems with hiding from the Syrians. The boats from Athens/Cyprus/Italy don't run and havn't for the last 15 years or so no matter what anyone says unless you want to take a cruise and pay a few grand for the privelage of having your bike shipped.

It's just not worth the hassle.

Driving from the UK to Israel on the other hand is perfectly doable and without any real problems at all. Good roads pretty much all the way and a fantastic trip.

and i did this trip last year...Joe's Travels I left my bike in Amman though, so that i could drive back through Syria to get to Iran (didn't let the Israeli's stamp my passport)
