Prudhoe Bay to Vancouver?

Does anyone know how long it would take to ride from Prudhoe bay to Vancouver taking it easy?

I know how long it would take me, because I know what "taking it easy" means to me. It would take me a week riding, or two weeks including stopping to visit friends, going for hikes and to visit "reindeer" farms, etc., three or four weeks if I was also making endless side trips to interesting places, sampling local brews at excessive length, etc.

What I don't know, is what "taking it easy" means to you. Try looking here for hints (scroll down on page): Distance from Vancouver, Washington to Fairbanks, Alaska USA in miles and Kilometers - USA Maps and Directions Find out how far it is from Vancouver to Fairbanks

Enjoy,

Indeed, easy is in the eye of the beholder.

One guess-timate method is to add total km to get a sense of riding hours. It's about 4,000 km the most direct route and 4,300 the slightly less direct route so if you can average 100km/hour that's ~43 hours of riding or 7 days with six hours each of saddle time. Actual days are of course longer.

As Markus indicates something like a week with riding everyday and minor stops. Two weeks if you were going take the more interesting detours and certainly the possibility to stay a lot longer exists.

It is a pretty special part of the world, if the opportunity arises, it would be nice to take the most scenic route and stop and see as much of the area as you have time for.
