A passage to India- Help and Advice sought
 

Hi All, (Second time asking - any help or suggestions at all please)
Been a long time since I used this site (2015 - Moroccan Adventure!) Now looking at going further afield to India, circumnavigate, then return to the UK taking 6 months off work. Firstly is this doable and secondly any suggested routes would be appreciated? Thinking of leaving in April/may returning in Sept/Oct next year Dave

Three options:

Drive over Russia to Mongolia, join an expensive guided tour group through China to Nepal and then India.

Drive to Kyrgystan (enjoy central asia), and go from there with a group through China to North of Pakistan, and enter India via Lahore Amritsar.

Drive the most common way, via Turkey Iran Pakistan.
In Pakistan you travel with police escort and so on. In Iran people from UK need a guide. This info is available here on the forum, just search.
