Pan American advice

I have a colleague who wants to ride from alaska to Patagonia on a Royal Enfield and he wants to complete it in 36 days. Is that feasible?

Well, 36 days is close to a record. An old Guinness one was of 34 days (I think) and the actual is of 22 Days and few hours. All of that made on feasible bikes…

Know an Austrian girl who bought an Enfield in NY and make it to Argentina, but even don’t counting the several days or weeks she was stuck for repairs and waiting parts takes a lot longer than that.

A friend just one year ago take a YBR125 from Buenos Aires to Alaska, his girlfriend gave him a 4 months timeout to be back, he had to ask for few more days credit to complete the journey and return by plane from Vancouver. Luckily his little Yamaha didn’t had many mechanical issues…

Tell your colleague to share his adventures with us (check the HU Travellers Blogs here) doesn’t matter if he just make a quarter of the distance or less.

Saludos

Where in Alaska to where in Patagonia?

Both pretty big places so could make a few days difference.

BTW getting across the gap could take from hours to days so that could be a problem too.
