One of my best motor trips

I have to share this with you guys!

A real recommendation would be to travel to Reunion island and rent a motorcycle there to tour the island.

It is such an amazing beautifull place with a lot of different climates.

There are so many motorcyclist there and the roads are French quality.
The people are fully aware of motorcycles and automatically make room so you can pass.

Beste route there is the cirque de cilaos
But driving around the island next to the see ( I think it was from Saint Pierre to Saint Louis ) is also amazing.

Any others have visited that place?

Looks amazing, but £800 15hr return flight from London, for 10 miles of riding, not sure if it offers value for money.

It is a small plaze but it is beautifull. Mountains volcanos and more. It has a lot of different micro climates.

Probably from Paris you cab fly directly for less! Depends on the season offcourse.

I read this and asked myself where the heck Reunion Island is....

"Réunion is an island and region of France in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar and 175 km (109 mi) southwest of Mauritius."

Wow - sounds great but incredibly remote! Maybe if I keep buying Lotto I can check it out someday....

It is really remote and I would recommend to rent a motorcycle there.

I shipped mine there but it took 1 month from Europe.

Attached a picture https://www.cartedelareunion.fr/wp-c...laos-route.jpg of the route I am talking about

Just checked Skyscanner out of curiosity. I can get tickets for April for under a thousand euros each way with convenient connections, or 800 euros if I want to spend a day in Mauritius (which is not the worst thing in the world). Nothing's really remote these days...

But you're already halfway there compared to me. I just used Skyscanner and the cheapest ticket I can get is about 1600 euros. Plus accommodation, rental etc... it wouldn't be cheap. Maybe someday!
