Nigeria transit route.....??
 

Can anyone offer me some guidance with regard to crossing benin to cameroon? I am not too sure of the safety factor in nigeria so would like to pass as quick as possible!
I am solo on an honda XL600LM

no one in their right mind would say that there are no problems in nigeria (or anywhere else ) its a lottery!! BUT!!! i travelled through there and , apart from the 80 or so road blocks, i didnt have a problem its ballsaching but not dangerous and after a while it all becomes a bit of a game..and i do not give "presents"

Nigeria wasnt as bad as people said, and the people who said it was bad had never been there!!!! its polluted its difficult but its doable!!! and makes great dinner party conversations after the trips over

The security Guard on the construction site i'm on is from Nigeria - I just asked him what its like and he said its fine and to tell you to drive on.

Said he didn't know why Nigeria had such a bad rep.

Not sure if there's another Nigeria and thats he comes from>
