We had oil changed and new tires put on as well as some repair work on brake lever, hand guard, bent engine guard and brake pedal. Nelson worked all day on a holiday (when most other employees in the city had the day off) trying to get all of the bikes serviced that were sitting at his shop. Nelson is very friendly and conscientious and did good work. He speaks some broken English so between that and our broken Spanish we were able to effectively communicate. He even included a wash that got our bike as clean as the day we bought it off the showroom floor. It took a day longer (48 hours to turn around new rear tires, oil change and repair work on two bikes) than anticipated for Nelson to complete the work but in all fairness, one of these days was a holiday.
While your bike is being worked on at Nelsons, a great place to lodge is about 3 miles away at Agora Suites. Very affordable, secure parking for motos inside the hotel, small and personable, good breakfast and very comfortable.
