Must see's and Do's on route from Europ to South Africa (West Coast)

I am leaving at the end of October with my motorcycle BMW G 650 XChallenge (minimal asalt) from Belgium to South Africa through the western side. (Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Mali, ...)
What are the places that I must see on my route and where do I have to think about in connection with my trip?
I am not bound by time.
