Mud tires with minimal road capability

I'm going to be riding a DRZ 400 SM in an area that is remote and has a lot of mud and rivers. Can anyone recommend a tire that optimizes travel in mud and water, while still having at least some ability to travel down a paved or gravel road... so something like a 80% offroad 20% on road tire but specifically for mud??? Thanks so much for any help in advance!

Michelin's Anakee Wild are reckoned to be very good in mud and sand but wear quickly on road. But no 'dual purpose' tyre is ever going to be as good in the snotty stuff as dedicated offroad rubber. The DRZ is a smaller bike (by dualsport standards) so you could get away with running tyres like AC10's which are superb off road, and yet still road legal.

The trouble is that front 17 inch wheel. I bought a DRZ400SM and swapped the wheels out for the E/S 18' 21' wheels. A) 17' inch front tyres the range is shit, and the range avaliable to buy in remote places is even worse. b) putting a knobbly on the front makes it handle dangerously on the road.
