Mongolia to western Europe
 

Hello all,
I'm starting to plan a Moto trip from UB west via KTM 790 Adv Solo. I'll be camping as much as possible, however, Hostal/hotels, couches will most likely be in the mix. Everything I've read so far, has steered me in the direction of either the "middle" or "northern" routes out of Mongolia. I don't have a clue what that is...? Otherthan maybe paved main roads, which I'd like to avoid.

Basically, I'll be aiming at the Altai region to cross into Russis, then Kazakhstan.

I'll be doing UK-Siberia-Mongolia-Silk Road-Caucasus-UK starting May, also on a 790. Should get to Ulaanbaatar around the end of June. PM me your email and I'll send you my travel plan and rough route.

We are heading towards Europe from UB in May this year, we are on a 790adv and a 990adv.
I've been looking towards a southern route as it would be good to see/visit the Gobi desert but same as you would exit Mongolia in the Altai region before heading towards Semi in Kaz to see the old testing nuclear test site then south towards Almaty and eventually the Pamir and the Bartang or Wahkan Valley
