Cancun is a long way from here....

Another guy and I are planning on leaving Belligham, Washington for TDF around October 1st. Should be in Mexico by the 3rd or 4th, but then we'll start to slow down a bit and smell the frioles.
He rides an 1150GS and I have a 650GS. I plan on hitting Usuhaia for Christmas and then heading north thru Chile to Santiago. My tentative plan is to be back home by mid January.

Have you got a route planned out? How many of you at this time? What is your "riding style"? Go far and fast and rest up in a four start? Go off road and see what's over there and tent at night? Stop at every interesting Cantina and sample the local favorites?

Ushuaia for Christmas

Looks like I need to make some reservations for Ushuaia.

My SO and I will be leaving eastern Canada in mid-September and hope to be in Ushuaia for Christmas. We will be riding 2 up on a BMW R1200GS Adv.

Looks like we may have opportunities to meet up.

Hi Pascal

You certainly have it all planned out. We will be taking much of the same route but our schedule will be looser. The more we research the more we find we want to see. We are hoping to be in Ushuaia for Christmas but even that is flexible. By the looks of your schedule we could certainly cross paths.

Are you aware of the HUBB Meeting in Viedma, Argentinain December?
