Looking for suggestions in S. Costa Rica and Panama
 

Im picking up an xr250 tomorrow in S CR and looking for cool routes and locations to visit down here and into panama. I am dirt friendly. Open to ideas. Thanks!

I would highly recommend heading up to San Vito to cross into Panama via Rio Sereno. There is a stretch of about 6 to 10km's of reasonably good dirt on the Costa Rica side. The highlands are beautiful and that little border crossing (only open til about 4:00pm) was very friendly and totally devoid of "helpers" and money changers when I crossed in the spring of 2010.
