london to cape town
 

Hi,
We are on an RTW now stuck in London after refusal of Iranian visa. Travelling with sidecar so air freight not an option to get around corners. Thinking of trying for Cape Town overland, I know wrong time of year! Russia was obvious answer but visa problems again. Can anyone offer some current routes still open. Ideas please.

You find a nice city to get stuck! What was the reason why you cant get the iran visa?

But i have no idea how complicate it is, to do Route 2 or 3.

What was your plan, after the iran?

If you are on RTW. and planning London Cape town through Egypt as the following step;

Most safe destination is İskenderun-TR to Demietta-EG. even you will be faced with much paperwork and expenses..

Iran visa:

During last 3 years, noone is refused by Iran consulate in istanbul at applications with a reference number taken on internet.Make application online and write İstanbul, Erzurum or Trabzon as the city to pick up the visa.Your Pakistan visa will make all easier and faster..(Its a must for all to apply for Pakistan visa at the home country.)

Or.
If you have a second passport and you are told to apply in your home country, my name and address is a safe and friendly place in İstanbul for
all travellers to send the parcels or get the second passport posted..
Every year, I get 5-6 parcels, keep them at home or club until the owner is here...

Hope that helps and you can find the best solution to overcome..
