Lao-Cambodia border crossing with bike rented in Vietnam
 

Hello Travellers :),
Last year I've rented bike in Hanoi and gave it back in Ho chi Min, however didn't have enough time to see everything in Vietnam.
I'd like to come back to Hanoi, rent a bike there go through Sapa to Lao and then down to Cambodia and back to Vietnam- Ho chi Min partially by Mekong ship.
I found information on some forum that it is impossible to cross Lao - Cambodia border with Vietnamese motorbike and I would have get back to Vietnam and get to Cambodia from Vietnam directly. Anyone could confirm or deny?
