labrador round trip
 

for the adventurious types; consider this--montreal to quebec city and on to sept isles. then to labrador city, churchill falls, happy valley in labrador. next ferry to st. anthony newfoundland, then to port aux basques, ferry to nova scotia and home. oh did i mention sept isles to happy valley is mainly gravel roads, real wildermess travel via motorbike.

I've done part of this route on my F650. Rode from central Virginia up through Quebec City, then up the coast to Baie Comeau. From there, you jump on the two lane road (Rt. 389) that takes you all the way to Labrador City and Wabush, Labrador. If I'd had more time, I would have continued on to Happy Valley and then the ferry, but the ferry runs only a couple times a week and I couldn't spare the time to wait -- the downside of having a regular job :-)
