Hi,

The title is the basic itinerary, there are other places I am planning to stop off, but my basic questions are these.
A). Buy a bike in Kathmandu or rent
B). Most blogs seem to go the other way (Delhi to Nepal). Is there any reason why?

Very happy for any other thoughts, advice etc

Hi Chris and welcome,
It might be due to you officially needing a carnet for a foreign registered bike in both countries but Nepal is more flexible about letting Indian registered bikes in without one than the other way around.
