We will certainly obtain all the visas that we can get before we leave Oz,especially Russia and Iran (if Iran is possible in 12 months) but various threads have mentioned the great help of the Istanbul bisiklet motosiklet, particularly visas for the 'stans. Adrian Scott sent his passport off the the UK to get these visas, but I prefer to keep mine a little closer.
We're fortunate to have over 12 months to ensure we get all paperwork sorted.
