Iraq Visa/Transit
 
With the demise of UK/Iran relations my trip back to the UK in July at the end of my contract from Oman is becoming more and more difficult.

No possible Entry to Iran.
No Transit via Bike across Saudi
Syria still having domestic unrest

Assuming I can truck my bike to Kuwait....

Has anyone tried/succeeded in crossing Iraq ? If so any advice

There's always the Yemen option doh

Great link/further information

It appears that Kurdish Iraq and Non Kurdish Iraq have two separate systems, for former being easy to get into - the latter not.

I´m no expert, but as a tourist, I would personally stay the hell away from southern or central Iraq.
