India/Nepal Route
 

Hi everyone,

I have been surfing this site for years, however this is my first post.

I am currently in Laos, I'm doing a Trip on a 107cc Honda Win which I bought in Hanoi in mid November 2013 (for $250 :-D ). So far I've done Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, over 10,000km. I should enter Thailand next Monday where I should end the trip after 5 weeks.

I am planning another trip right after Thailand, flying to Delhi in Mid-March where I plan to buy a 150cc bike (hopefully for less than $300) and travel for 2 months, ending in Kathmandu, Nepal.

My question in this thread however is:

Is there anyone who could suggest what route to take given the time span and time of the year ?

I would like to go as north as I can but I know the Manali-leh route does not open until May. Ideally I would like to enter Nepal from the far North-West border around mid April and travel Nepal for the remaining month.

Any replies would be really appreciated.
