If you had a week(from london)?

I have an XL600 and a week form london. I want to warm up for my trans africa trip in november. Any suggestions how I can best use this time.
I was thinking of Ireland....?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

yup, the pyrennees can give delightful ( and challenging) riding. Personally I would go Portsmouth to Dieppe and follow the non peage route down.
