Hi
I think you will find the import document is directly related to your visa.
So if you have only a 30 days visa then your bike is only allowed to stay 30 days.
Well that has been the case at many border i have crossed.

AFAIK last year they started issuing all temporary import certificates with a one year term rather than 90 days, as previously. When I was at the border last year I specifically asked one of the customs guys if the year long TIC was only issued for certain types of visa, and he said no. If you search on this forum, I think you'll find posts here from last year that seem to confirm that all TICs are now for a year.

If you've already entered Russia and have the TIC you can post a picture here and we can confirm what exactly it says.

I´ll go to Russia next year. If I´ll have one year for the TIC will be good, I can leave the bike there and after catch it with no problems.

Interested in this too. From my research it seems that they automatically give 1 year, just as they used always to give 90 days, even if you were on a 10 day transit visa.

Has anyone had any questions at the airport when leaving without the car/ bike?

Thanks

EO

No, and I've done it dozens and dozens of times, no issues at all.
