Help! Condition Road Kazakhstan Uzbekistan/ Beyneu to Nukus
 

Dear all,
I nead your advice, hopefully there is someone who has done this stretch recently. My plan inititally was to go through Iran/Turkmenistan/Uzbekistan but I did not get the visa for Turkmenistan. So now I will hit Russia the next days from Georgia and then go to Astrachan, Atyrau and from there over Beyneu to Uszbekistan. Here is my problem: As I thought I would do Iran/Turkmenistan I sent a pair of tires to Dushanbe before I hit the Pamir Highway. Right now I am driving with Metzeler Tourance Next street tires. I already did a bit of decent gravel in Turkey and here in Georgia, was quite ok. But now I read about the street conditions from Beyneu to the border – seems like they are horrible.

So here is my question: Anyone who has been driving this yet, you think I can do it with my tires? Are there some peolpe driving this stretch and coming by from time to time in case I fall or have any issues? Or you would consider it as a better idea to get the bike on a truck/pick up at Atyrau/Beyneu to the border?

Would be so great to hear from someone who did this strech.
