Garage Motorbike in NY & routes up the East Coast??
 

Hi there!

I am currently riding my motorbike from Alaska to South America and have been on the road for 4 months, done about 13,400 miles or so and am loving it! I am getting to NY in the next few weeks and need to find somewhere to store my bike!

Would anyone on here happen to know where I can store my bike in NY? I have found some places is can pay $$$ but it's stupidly expensive! I am happy to bribe with beer or vegimite!

Also, any "must do" routes up the east coast would be great to know about!

Whenever I have needed to store my motorcycle temporarily while travelling, I have taken it to a Honda dealer (my brand) and asked them to carry out any necessary service such as oil or tire changes, then store it until I come back to pick it up.

That kills two birds with one stone, and if the dealer does charge for storage, it is usually a pretty small fee, perhaps $1 or $2 a day at most.

An added benefit is that if you call a few days before you plan to pick it up, the dealer will charge the battery up for you and, if necessary, wash the thing.
