From Dallas to Mazatlan
 
Hello,

I start my trip in Dallas, with my bike a have bought there, to Mazatlan. I want to take the border at Piedras Negras. For this trip I have 7 days, starting 1st oct 2013.

Someone have any suggestions, do's and dont's?

Absolutely do the road "Espino del diablo" between Durango and Mazatlan. The free road, not the toll road. You will hear from the locals that the free road is dangerous and you should take the toll road. It's really not that bad, just 8 hours of tight twisty roads through the Sierra Madre mountains. The best road I have ever ridden.
