France - west to south
 

Hi,
Driving with the family and kids in July/Aug this year from "La Tranche-sur-Mer" to "Port grimaud".
1)
Is there alot to see on this route?
2)
Is it worth the long drive? If it is worth it, then we will take frequent breaks and even a stop over.
I wonder if I should avoid the highway and take the longer scenic route for this drive?
