Five Countries In Four Days

An upcoming business trip to Europe may find me "stuck" in Amsterdam for four days. So instead of working from my hotel room or doing the normal tourist stuff, I'm thinking of renting an adventure bike and riding counter clockwise. The current thinking is to ride into Belgium, cross into France, ride along the border regions and enter Luxembourg from the south, then cross over into Germany and ride north to arrive back into Amsterdam. That makes it five countries in four days.

First question. Does this make sense?

Second question. Where can I rent an Adventure bike in Amsterdam?

This is going be from 28th June to 1st July. I'm from India and do know much about Europe. So any help, advise, pointers, etc. will be greatly appreciated.

Good route; get out of Holland asap, the whole country is a car park. The good riding is around the Ardennes. Maybe try the top of the D964 down the Meuse Valley to Verdun. Some nice riding around Trier and Saarbrücken too. Just stay off the autoroutes. Logis de France are a good start for hotels or try Accor.

Can't help with rental.

A great idea, but why specifically an adventure bike?? Not that i am being pedantic because I have one, but....
I had a few mins spare

Rentals | Harley-Davidson Amsterdam

couldn't find much else unless you want a scooter?

There was a topic on tripadvisor but it was 2 years old

As someone has already stated the Ardennes is great, Bastogne a nice place to stop

I would also recommend the Ardennes, and then would recommend that you ride east to around Bingen on the Rhine, and then back up along the Rhine for awhile--very nice! If you want you can ride along the Rhine all the way back to Holland.

I also agree you don't really need an Adventure bike; I find them more comfortable because of the posture, etc., but you certainly won't "need" one for this route.
