Edmonton to Chicago Che k Xrivers
 

I am planning a trip to Chicago to meet up with some friends. My plan is to:

1. Edmonton to Saskatoon
2. Saskatoon to Regina
3. Regina to Fargo ND
4. Fargo to Minneapolis, MN
5. Minneapolis to Milwaukee, WS (stay w/friend then next day to Chicago)

I get my bike this week, a new BMW K1300GT, need to change address on drivers license as just moved and Alberta takes 7-10 business days to do them. Gonna be tight but I'm thinking that I best have all my documents in order before leaving and heading into USA.

I have a valid CDN passport, was wondering if they check drivers license at the USA border?

Hit or miss, depends on the border guard. Last two times I was only asked for the passport.
