Drive Holiday
 

Hi,
I am booking campsites for our drive holiday through France and Switzerland.
There are four adults and two under 7 year olds.
This is the drive plan:
1)
London to Calais.
Calais to Port Grimaud in southern France
with a two nights stop at either Pierrefitte or Benny Riviere.
Drive early in the morning towards Port Grimaud
2)
5 nights at Port Grimaud.
Early start drive towards Susten in Switzerland
3)
3 nights in susten
4)
early start drive towards Paris
5)
4 nights in Paris
6)
paris to calais and ferry back to London
Question:
Looking at the driving route part 1) above, I think it is best to stay in Pierrefitte instead of Benny Riviere. My reason is that this way we get to see part of the middle of France as well.
What do you think please?
