Don't we love Sudan???
 

Hi,
We'll be leaving London next month to Cape Town(around the med and then down east Africa).Now the tricky bit:we've been waiting for the Sudanese visa for over 2 months ...
Does anyone knows a way to ship the bike to Eritrea from Egypt?Has anyone done that before?Or any other way welcome...

why not try for the sudanse visa in egypt and ship if that does not work out. sudanese visas seem easier to obtain as one gets closer to sudan = I succeeded on a British passport in Addis Ababa after getting no luck in Nairobi. Good luck

I'm tentatively planning the same sort of trip for a years time. I've got loads of questions to ask and would love to hear how you get on. What bikes have you got? Why are you going to Egypt when by all accounts its a nightmare and puts up the cost of your Carnet?

I also got my visa in Addis. Not completly out of hassel. So if you have time you should try in Cairo or any other neighburing country. Sudan is great. Dont miss it if you have the chance.
