Crossing Rio Usumacinta
 
Three of us on GSs are headed to Mexico and Guatemala after Christmas. We would like to cross the Rio Usumacinta with our bikes. It looks like there are long boats that cross from Mex to Guat at Frontebra Corozal.

Questions - Anyone taken a bike acorss on these boats? Would they handle a loaded GS? Are there alternatives?

They're called lanchas.
I've taken that route with an 1150GS. You'll be fine.
