Carb problems in southern Spain

Hello all. I am headed to Morocco in a few days but I am having bike problems. I am on a 90 Transalp. Rumor has it that mechanics in Morocco are just as capable as those here in Spain and alot cheaper. Any one with experience of both sides have any input? I can still roll at 100kph but the bike needs some TLC from some one used to dual carbs and what not. (I am a vet one lung rider.) Plus I think I would rather spend a few few days on foot in Africa then here in Spain.
Any input would be great.
Thanks.
Simon

Hi Simon,
Not sure where you are in Spain or what the issue is with the carbs. Having said that I would get the bike fixed in Spain. First off you should be able to find a mechanic who has experience of transalps which is unlikley in Morocco and secondly if you need any spares they should be easy to source, unlike Morroco.
The mechanics in Morocco have unlimited enthusiasm but if you donĀ“t know what is needed things can get away from you. In the end it could cost you more.

Steve
