Bike fixin' & parts in Peru
 

My name is Toby Shannon. I am an American and I live in Huanuco, Peru in the central Andes. I know bikes backwards and forwards as a rider, competitor, moto mechanic, Mechanical Engineer, and organizer of motosports events.

I would like to offer to any moto travelers to help them along the way by any wrenching and parts they may need. We also have a spare bedroom if you would like to stay with my wife Sara and I. You can have tires and parts sent to me, or I can pick them up for you in Lima (to which I go often) so that you don't have to carry them with you. :thumbdown:

Why would I do this? :confused1: Because it gives me a chance to meet you (and have a drink together! bier ), encourage you in your dream of riding South America, and most of all to keep you away from Lima lest it taint your experience of Peru. I want to promote riding down the central Andes of Peru and NOT along the Panamercan Highway.. :mchappy:
