Best way to pass through Lima, Peru
 

I'm just south of Lima, in Paracas. I'd like to head north through Lima (without stopping) on to Huacho. I've been advised to no go through Lima but head to Huancayo, then Huanuco, Huarez and finally go back down to the coast. This seems like a much, much longer route. Is there a way to go straight through Lima.

Part of the problem is that parts of the 1N/1S supposedly do not allow motocycles ( Via Expresa, Via Evitamiento).
