Best route to Auschwitz

I'm planning on riding out to Auschwitz, end of the month, then south through Slovakia. I've been looking at the maps, and not sure of what route to take once I cross from Germany, but its either North Czech or Southern Poland.
If anyone's done it before, and can recommend a scenic route, it would be appreciated. I'm planning on camping as much as poss, so good campsites would also be welcome. ( unless anyone knows of cheap bike friendly accomodation en route ).
Haven't made my mind up yet as to what route to take once into Slovalia, but its a 2 week ( ish ) round trip from London.
Thanks for any advice.

I got as far as the "Flytrap" in Poland. would like to visit Auschwitz. The small road from Freyung to Kutna Hora is good ( church of bones) if you stay off the motorways, then out to Nowa Ruda in Poland. from there you could go SE to Auschwitz.

I'm taking a party of 24 to Oswiecim and Krakow in a couple of months. My prefered route is Plsen, Krivoklat national park then skirt Prague, overnight at Hradec Kralove then use the minor roads to the south of the Czech/Polish border through Svitavy and Brenenec to Olomouc then cross near Ostrava. First place to visit in Poland will be Pszczyna and then on to Oswiecim. There's a decent camp site at Hranice that used to stage the Four Stroke Rally but apart from that I've never camped in the Czech Republic.
