I submitted my on-line application for a visa code/number to a UK-based Iranian tour agent three weeks ago (February-10th).

Still no reply.

Looks like I might have to consider writing-off the 80 quid fee I had to pay up front! doh

The need for a 'Plan B' springs to mind!

Sorry to hear that Keith. If it's your first time to Iran, then it can take some time, but I would say start to seriously consider Plan B after another week of waiting.

For the record, visa agents such as Touran Zamin – Iran Tour and Travel Co. – Iranian Tour and Visa will apply for the authorisation number for around 35 Euros.

These things will occur, now there is surely we need to have plan B, C....

I've been twice and this is the first I've heard of this.. planning on going in the summer again for a few months in the apartment I rent from a friend. I can't afford (nor want) to stay in a hotel in Tehran for two or three months.. now I have to wait patiently for reports. :/
