aswan-wadi haifa ferry - when??
 

can anyone tell me the next departure date for any ferries that can take motorcycles on from aswan to wadi haifa? myself and my travel partner are in cairo, looking to take this ferry with our 2 teneres to wadi haifa in the next couple of weeks, but are not sure when the next one is leaving and would prefer to avoid a long delay in aswan if possible!

Can you keep me informed of the travel from Cairo to Wadi Halfa as I will be attempting it in January I belive you have to take a military convoy from Luxor to Aswan ?? then the ferry down lake Nasser $400 the last I heard but that is for a Land Rover so I would hope a bike would be much less expensive !
Im planing to follow the Paris Dakar
(Marseille - Sharm el Sheikh more like ) in January
My trip is Marseille Tunisia Libya Egypt Sudan Ethiopia and south from there

The passenger ferry leaves aswan every monday and you can take bikes for the same price as a passenger
