Hi Garry
- could I have a copy too please Mate? Many thanks peteconnolly (AT) xtra.co.nz Regards Shafty NZ |
Guus and Pete, I've just mailed you a copy.
Unfortuantely I don't check this thread too often so if anyone else who would like it, please drop an email to farqhuarforever(AT)yahoo.com.au |
I stumbled across this old thread doing research for something else.
A pdf copy of Michael's book can be downloaded here I'd also love to get a copy of his adventure crossing the Sahara by taxi Desert Taxi if anyone has come across it. Another really good read is Scooting Through by Ruth Blayne. Two young and very naive girls left London on a 125cc Lambretta, with their picnic case for food strapped to the back as if they were going for a run to Brighton. They made it to Australia! in 1959!! Order a copy from here |
Yes thank you for sharing this, it will give me something to read on my night shifts.
:innocent: |
Scootergal - you are a very dangerous person to know. Stop posting cool stuff and turning itchy feet into terminal cases of buggering off please...!

Belle, last night I watched the Hardcore Postie ride from Byron Bay NSW to Speers Point WA - straight across the middle!!!
Six and a half days of pure fun... and I wanna leave right now!! |
Thanks!
A very nice read. I wonder how a 1.5 hp scooter 2-up and with luggage goes up hill ?? |
