The trails today were a mix of easy farm tracks, rocky climbs and twisty gravel roads. We rode through farmland, forestry and arid scrub. We even found a few bits of sticky mud.

Our southern most trail ran along the northern edge of the Serra del Montsec mountain range. The views were terrific.

Our return to the main road gave us the opportunity to take Lee on the most fun, twistiest of twisty roads that we discovered last time we were here.

On the way back we took a detour to look at the spillway from the Talarn Dam which was built in 1913 to harness the Noguera Pallaresa for hydro electric power and irrigation.
