The similarities in your story to mine are amazing ..... gives me goose bumps. right down to the Ex being the love of my life and moving on to "greener pastures" and the reason for travelling and the dreams finally going away. The only difference even after changing religion ( but that is cool I am not a religious person) is that I am going for it. I figure life is too short to pass up an opportunity to be happy and my new wife to be certainly makes me happy. We are apart now, me touring Thailand Laos and Cambodia while she finishes up her contract at work and plans the wedding for July while I return at the end of June to Medan. A few changes to the bike to rearrange luggage and accommodate her a comfortable position and then after the wedding off we go. Mate not that you need my advice ( but I will give it anyway ) is go for it follow your heart sounds like you are, like me, a lucky man to have a second chance at some happiness. But in the end it is up to the two of you. Good luck mate. We should catch up when we are over that way.

Thanks for sharing your stories. It's good to know that I'm not the only one. Good luck with the wedding and everything thereafter Rick, it sounds like you make a good team.....but don't let her backseat drive :mchappy:. Would like to get together if we're in the same part of the world
