chill , everybody has their own idea what an ideal ride is .Just because someone's idea is not the same as yours doesn't mean you should put them down.

I don't think he's putting him down ... just expressing a contrary opinion. Is that still allowed? Hey Miles ... why don't you report him to a moderator

Chill? Indeed, perhaps take your own advice! :innocent:

Time, Gentlemen. Sniping at each other will merely close the thread and draw unfavorable attention from moderators. Some of you can't really afford that.

The OP took a fast trip on a motorbike. It sounds like he might even have been paid to do so. Some find that style of travel perplexing, but he enjoyed it--as have others on similar trips. My own style of travel is at least equally perplexing to most of the world's population, and that's as it should be.

best,

Mark

Thanks,

I mounted a higher steering to get a more upright driving position.
For the first 3 days i used an Air hawk seat cushion and the rest i rode on the stock sesat wich i found more comfy.

Zongshen has released a 250 adventure bike which has been getting a lot of attention, too. I am actually leaning towards that bike. CF Moto does not seem to have any dealers in the US, as far as bikes go. There was a guy in Alaska with one on mychinamoto and chinariders.net , so that might be the only dealer?

Yes this bike is reliable. I just looked up that Zongshen bike and ive never heard about it nor seen it before. Design is obviously borrowed from BMW, but all manufacturers borrow designs in their earliest stages. 250cc is way to small though, cant be comfy nor fuel efficient. Lets give them a few years and i bet there will be awesome bikes.
CF has lots of dealers in the States, but maybe they only stick to ATV:s.
Contact one and ask if they have plans to stock the 650NK.
I will look for the Zongshen as it would be very interesting to try one.

7k in almost 7 days Excellent ! BTW I understand completely. Was the go pro hard wired or were you changing batteries?

Thanks, I managed to connect the usb charger cable and a USB port on my bike. This camera was facing forward and timelapsed the entire trip. A second camera was attached to all possible angles to capture the nicest moments and for this i had a USB battery charger that charged 2 batterys at a time. For about a day my USB connection broke down so i had to change the batterys every 2 hours.
