Kathmandu motorcycle repair
Just another vote for the brothers Pushpa and Laxmi in Kamal Pokhari in Kathmandu. Their workshop is called the Kathmandu Motorcycle Servicing Workshop. They're the best mechanics I've ever seen, everything triple checked, greased, torqued correctly - all done by the book. They're also willing to improvise if possible and you don't have the cash to pay. I have some vivid memories of them smashing my forks back into shape with a big wooden pole. If you're not in a hurry and you need your bike thoroughly worked over don't hesitate to see these guys. The location on google maps isn't quite right -they're on the main road (Pashupai Sadak), a few houses up from Kamal Pokhari in a white building. Drive through the gate and down to the basement level and you'll find them. Really great guys.
