Tyres in Guayaquil, Ecuador
 

Taxes are high in Ecuador and there seems to be lot less larger bikes. So we found it a bit difficult to get tyres (180/55 Zr17's) on our way to the Galapagos.Plus most of the bike shops were closed on Saturday... So we were faced with a delay until Monday to get things going. However we found a great tyres and accessories shop, the owner spoke great English (well, American anyway...) and not only had some tyres in stock but had a great range available within a few working days. He also ensured the tyres were delivered to a hotel so were waiting for us on return from the islands. Great service (and WAS open Saturday). We highly recommend checking him out for any supplies.
