Bike mechanic in Turkey, SE Anatolia, Van
 

Just had a service done in Van, around 250km from the Iranian border.

Mesut is a XT660 R rider himself. All the "big bike boys", including the cops, in the area go to this guy. Shop is "Motovan", Ph +90 432 215 1838, moto-van@hotmail.com. He's at N38 30.077 E43 22.481. It's the Yamaha shop behind the Shell Gas Station, around the corner from the Migros supermarket,next to the Carrefour shopping center.

Price was very reasonable. I was in the shop with them watching and doing stuff myself. Parts may take a few days from Ankara. So give him a heads up if specific needs. Mesut speaks enough English to get the message across. A good option before Ankara/Antalya if coming/going from/to Iran.
