WANTED: Overland 4x4 South Africa July 2018
 

Hi,

My girlfriend and I want to travel from Cape Town to Austria starting in July 2018. Our plan is to reach Austria before New Years Eve 2018.

We hope to be able to to buy a 4x4 in South Africa, that is already equipped for overlanding. Ideally we would like to find an EU-registred car from someone that has just driven down from europe to SA. I think, that way the hassle with the paperwork will be a Minimum.

I know, it's still some time till July 2018, but we would like to give a shoutout to people, that are currently planning a trip to South Africa and have not decided what to do with their car at the end of the trip. Maybe you would like to sell it instead of dealing with the expensive shipment back to Europe.

We are also offering to drive back a vehicle and sell it back to the original owner, if someone wants to save the cost of shipping :)

FYI: We are a couple both in our early 30s, both have a good amount of travel experience. Myself i also have overland experience in Europe, Asia and North Africa, mostly on my bike (Honda Africa Twin) and with a VW T4.

So please, if anyone who reads this is finishing a overland trip with a 4x4 in July 2018 or knows somebody, that does -> leave a comment :)
