4x4 Nissan navara Camper for sale

Nissan Navara 4x4 Camper Van.

It is a 2004 extra cab model. I will be keeping the plate that's on it so it will be sold with an age related number plate (54 Reg)

This was originally one of 47 vehicles built for Eon. I purchased it when it came out of service in 2010. The back was originally a workshop which I have converted into a very capable, self sufficient camper.

It has only done 58900 miles. If you know these Navara D22 engines you'll know that if you don't have the engine mods done they can blow. You'll be glad to know that I had all the work done by the best in the business - Billcar Engineering at 55086 miles. (Look these guys up on the internet). I have all the receipts. Whilst the engine was being upgraded I also had a new clutch fitted and a new timing chain fitted.

The chassis was undersealed at 54640 miles.

Outside there is a snorkel and roof lights. I have fitted a Reimo elevating roof which gives standing height in the living accommodation. There is a custom made swing away bike rack which will take 2 bikes. It has BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres on alloy wheels. All the tyres have good tread.
There are side steps fitted and I made an integral set of steps at the back that lock in both the up and down position. I also have a brand new set of front fog lights which you can have - but they will need fitting.

The cab has a CD/Radio, tilt/roll meter and a screen linked to two cameras. One provides a constant view behind the vehicle and the other one gives a wide angle view when reverse gear is selected.
Behind the seats is the battery storage area. There are 4 x 110amp hour leisure batteries. There is also a 240v socket and RCD unit in the cab connected to a commando socket outside - this is so that you can use a trickle charger to keep the batteries in good condition when the vehicle isn't being used. Alongside the batteries is a useful storage area. There is also a battery isolation switch.

The back of the camper is made of fibreglass and is insulated with rockwool and kingspan insulation, ply lined and covered in lining carpet. There are 4 sliding windows. The camper is small but well designed with loads of storage. There is a CD/Radio in the back with 2 speakers.

There are 2 x 240v sockets for when you are on hook up but there is also a standard socket that runs off a 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter. The bed is 5' 8" long and makes into a double (although the way it extends to a double is a bit heath robinson so you may want to make it easier). There is a sink and drainer. We just use a portable water container rather than having taps plumbed in. This drains into a portable grey water tank. Cooking is via a Wallas diesel ceramic hob which is very clean and efficient. The fumes all exhaust outside. The hob hardly uses any fuel. The fuel is stored in a small portable container which can be carried to a garage etc if it needs topping up. The hob also provides the heating. I have also ducted in a low level outlet with a fan - my intention was to make a lid for over the hob to duct the heat down to floor level.

The fridge is a 12v Waeco compressor fridge which is very efficient. I have also sealed the back from the inside and fitted two fans to bring cool air from outside over the cooling fins and pump it out. These are temperature controlled - which gives a very, very efficient system using very little battery power.

There is a porta potti which is stored in a cupboard under the sink.

4 LED individually switched spotlights provide the lighting

The electrics are controlled by a zig style unit which provides charging/fuses etc

The truck also comes with a large rear drive away awning, water container, waste water container and fire extinguisher.

We have mainly used the camper for festivals and holidays and it has always performed well. If you are happy to pay the asking price I will happily make sure it has a new MOT test.

The camper was featured on the front cover of 4x4 magazine in June 2014 with a 5 page feature inside.

Hi Dave, Welcome to the HUBB :)

Its always a good idea to put the location of the vehicle in the title as we have an international crowd here, you cant change the title now, but edit the post and put 'in UK' or wherever you are located at the top.
You can also go into 'user options' and add your location so it appears in the top right corner of your post and that way people know which market you are buying/selling stuff in. The photos also are not showing in IE or Chrome, so you might have to check those too or provide a link to view them elsewhere.

Looks like a nice truck, good luck with the sale!
