Never seen the inside built before the walls before, but I can see how it makes it easier to get the stuff in.

Looks good!

Wow, that is a huge truck. Good luck.

We are doing everything back to front, now we have put the walls up and don't know how to get in! LOL ;)

Storage Boxes

4 Attachment(s)
Our storage boxes have been manufactured and fitted.

Just got to remove them again for spraying.

The box in the middle will house the outdoor kitchen.

Motorcycle Lift

2 Attachment(s)
And our motorcycle lift is coming along nicely.

It will slide up and down by utilizing the rear mounted winch.

Update: The Lift is now ready to be sprayed.

Just need to cut the platform loose again as I have decided that it makes sense to add tail-lift hinges rather than a fixed platform so that the platform can be folded flat upright when not in use. Will save money when shipping also.

Further progress on the box

4 Attachment(s)
Our living space has now been sealed. Edging strips will be sprayed matching white for now but we will probably have the truck wrapped in some personal decals at the end.

Storage boxes need to be finished off and then we can move onto finishing the interior fitment.

Some big storage boxes to follow still between the cab and the box on either side of the Crawl-Thru.

With the door cut and stairs fitted it is starting to look like something.

Once we cut the 6x windows it will look more like a home for the road.

Swivel Mount

1 Attachment(s)
This is the swivel mount fitted to the body behind the cab to allow for flex of the chassis. The rear end is bolted down solid.

Interior Fitment

5 Attachment(s)
Our interior is slowly starting to make sense, albeit a bit dark! 6x windows still need to be cut.

We will have a white bulkhead with LED down-lights up against the ceiling to break up all the wood grain effect.

The shower door will swing out and lock against the walk-in-closet accross the passageway in order to open up a large area for getting out of the shower and straight into the wardrobe with privacy from the kitchen and lounge. A feature we have seen and like on some European trucks.

Will we complete this build by the end of the year??

5 Attachment(s)
We finally got around to cutting the windows.

PS. The white line in the side view picture of the truck indicates our intended position for the awning.

There is still a ton of work to be done on the interior fitment but it is starting to create the idea of our home on wheels that we imagined.

The Test Trip

We did not quite make our end of year completion deadline but we were able to take the Eurocargo out on a test trip.

Here are some photos of the progress so far:

Guess Sabrina brings the spam :rolleyes2: with her first post...

thanks Surfy, ‘Sabrina’ has been banned

@Family Friendly 4x4: How do you plan to carry the family? As far as I am able to see, only 3 Persons can stay in the driver cabin? Guess at many parts of the world it will be forbiden to stay at the rear during driving? At least Beds are planned for 6 travellers.
