i'm glad you put this section in. i have done some long bicycle tours and think it is easier than motorcycle touring since i don't know how to repair my motorcycle (yet).

that, and i can carry my loaded bicycle up a flight of stairs and into my hotel room.

i used to use a carradice handlebar bag in the rear of my motorbike. it worked great!
