Tyres in Almaty, Kazakhstan
I am trying to organise a front TKC80 before hitting the Pamir Hwy.
I have been given a KZ website which has 2 in stock in my size and I've placed the order as best I can on the all Russian site https://pitstopshop.kz/ Then I've also managed to get in touch with MCC Motors in Almaty who have given me their address and a contact number for the online order. Now waiting to hear back from the online shop and hopefully they can work with me to pay them for the tyre as the online order form only allows for a KazKomBank transfer or QIWI app which I'm unable to use from my phone number Anyone have any other suggestions to source this tyre or work with the above shops? I also got in touch with FreeRider who gave me a price on some Pirellis (crazy expensive) or some Shinkos but did not respond to me when i asked if I could get the TK80 bought and sent to them |
Denis Dean Panferov is your guy if you've got time, will get you whatever you want, good prices too. Which was TKC80 delivered to Almaty in my case. Might take 2-3 weeks though.
I've usually dealt with him by FB, but I think this is his website: http://www.motorezina.ru |
Road is smooth till Sary Tash. O the way vist ZorroMoto in Osh and buy the tyres. Best optiion IMHO. Dave is on HUBB as well so, ask him...

Also try contacting Agent Orange the KTM agent in Almaty, helpful bunch and speak some English. www.motoshop.kz

Thank you all for the replies.
- I knew about Denis but I thought he only delivered within Russia. I will get in touch - I've been in touch with Dave from ZorroMoto and unfortunately he doesn't have TKC80 in that size. He is the one that suggested the online store to me. If I can get a front TKC80 sorted, I will get a K60 from Dave for my rear - I did look into Ktm Almaty but their website did not work. I will try them on Facebook Thanks again! |

he also has really good prices for the tires. And her is reliable. He speaks english buy@motorezina.ru |
Prices were "good" UK prices as I recall.
Just don't underestimate how long it will take if you need to get them to the east of Russia, as they'll go overland. I think he needed three weeks to get some to Irkutsk. |
In my case to Barnaul ( 2 times ) and Ulan Ude it was definitely less.

Thanks all!
